EasyFit™ Warranty & Returns Policy

Warranty

EasyFit™ smoke alarms are manufactured under strict quality systems and individually tested before dispatch. We provide a non-transferable 2-year limited warranty to the original purchaser covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation or use not following our instructions
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, modification, or unauthorised repair
  • Damage from pests, power surges, moisture, paint, or physical impact
  • Expired products, end-of-life alerts, or batteries reaching normal depletion
  • Products that have been opened, tampered with, or improperly stored

To make a warranty claim, you must provide:

  • A copy of your original EasyFit™ order confirmation or sales receipt, and
  • The product is being returned for assessment.

EasyFit may choose to repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion.

Replacements do not extend the original warranty period.

Returns Policy (Change of Mind)

We want you to feel confident when purchasing EasyFit products. If you change your mind or are not satisfied with your order, you may return it within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return:

  • Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in original undamaged packaging
  • All accessories, screws, manuals, and mounting plates must be included
  • Products that have been installed, paired, activated, or marked cannot be returned

Return Shipping

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

We recommend a trackable service, as customers are responsible for returned goods until they are received by EasyFit.

Please include your name and order number clearly on the parcel.

Restocking Fee

A $14.95 restocking and handling fee applies to all approved change-of-mind returns.

This fee covers inspection, processing, and repackaging.

The restocking fee does not apply to returns relating to manufacturing defects or warranty-approved issues.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, EasyFit will process a refund for the product purchase price, minus the $14.95 restocking fee, within 2 business days.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If an item is returned used, damaged, or missing components, EasyFit may refuse the refund or apply a partial refund at our discretion.

Incorrect, Faulty, or Damaged Items

If you receive an incorrect item or your order arrives damaged, please contact us at
